Types of pain

  • Mechanical: pain may be dull, sharp, chronic or acute and often activated by movement.
  • Referred: pain that starts in one area but moves to another.
  • Radicular: pain follows the line of the nerve.

Neuro-skeletal Causes

  • Herniated disc: ruptured disc.
  • Spinal Stenosis: narrowing of spinal canal.
  • Cauda Equina Syndrome: compression and inflammation of the bundle of nerves in the lower section of the spinal cord.
  • Osteomyelitis: inflammation process of the bone and it’s structures.
  • Malignant tumor: both primary and secondary tumors.
